Wild Canada is now open to the public and members. We welcome you to take a journey through seven of Canada’s ecological zones, celebrating the wonder and diversity of a world where people, animals, and the land are connected.
To simplify our membership program, we’re moving to a two-tiered structure – Wild Explorers and Wild Adventurers. The difference between the two? It’s all about the perks you receive!

Family-Friendly
ZooBOO is a chance for your kids to dress up early, trick-or-treat at the zoo, and enjoy seeing their favourite animals. The best part? Your kids get to have fun while supporting wildlife conservation! Again this year, we’re spreading the fun over two HUGE days to ensure everyone can enjoy. Choose the day that works best for you and head down to the zoo.
Date(s): Saturday, October 28th & Sunday, October 29th
Time: 9:00am – 5:00pm daily
Daily Activities:
All activities taking place for ZooBOO are included with daily admission or memberships. We can’t wait to see you there!
Costumes: We encourage you and your kids to dress up and have fun, however the following adult costumes are not permitted to be worn on zoo grounds: full body animal costumes, mascot helmets, inflatable outfits, costumes that would be inappropriate for a family environment, or any realistic costume that could cause a security or animal welfare concern. We appreciate your understanding and thank you for your cooperation in advance!
In need of a last minute outfit? Look boo-tiful this Halloween with fantastic costumes, now available at our North Gift Shop. Whether your kiddo is looking to dazzle as a zebra or be the trendiest triceratops in town, there’s something for everyone. Trick or treat yourself to a paw-some ensemble that will make this Halloween unforgettable.
Be on the lookout for species receiving gourd-geous enrichment across the zoo. Our Animal Care, Health, & Welfare team will be treating the animals we love and care for to some Halloween-themed enrichment!

Just in time for Halloween, you can create ‘GOURD-geous’ pumpkins at home using our fun tiger and lemur templates.
Make your ZooBOO experience extra fun. Our specialty brunch menu features boo-tastic food, including Halloween themed breakfast and desserts! Don’t forget, day admission is included with your combo ticket! Enjoy a delicious brunch, followed by a delightful afternoon spent roaming the zoo at ZooBOO.
